Serviced apartments are usually divided into 3 main types: Studio, One-bedroom and Two-bedroom apartments, to suit your diverse needs! In addition to HongHome’s active buildings, new buildings under construction will still be fully designed with elements of each type of apartment and retain an inherent HongHome vibe! Let’s find out the difference between these 3 main apartment types!

Studio Apartment (‘Single Apartment’)

A studio apartment is a unified one-room apartment, which combines a bedroom, kitchen and living area into one large room. The design of studio apartments usually does not have a wall separating the sleeping and living areas, and the kitchen area (which may or may not be separated by a wall). However, the bathroom will be given a separate room, with a door.

Studio apartments are extremely suitable for independent people who love to live alone or want to have a cozy private space, but the price is affordable. Whether you move in with relatives or live alone can affect your decision to rent a studio. Studios don’t have a lot of personal space, which shouldn’t be an issue if you’re the only one living there. In other words, this is an introvert’s paradise!

2. One-bedroom apartment

A one bedroom apartment explains itself in its name. It is an apartment with one bedroom that is completely separate from the other spaces. The apartment can be designed with walls and a door or simply a partition and curtain, which separates this private resting area from the fully equipped kitchen, living room and bathroom.

Apartments with separate bedrooms cost more and are larger than studio apartments. Of course, this means that this type of apartment can meet the needs of a variety of customers. People who like to be alone can also use it, couples or pairs of friends who want to live together and share a room are still very suitable for renting one-bedroom apartments.

2. Two-bedroom apartment

As the name suggests, a 2 bedroom apartment is an apartment with two separate and distinct bedrooms. Each bedroom must have at least one window, one door and have a wall or partition to separate each room. The space inside should be at least enough for a bed and a wardrobe. This type of apartment usually has a separate living room and kitchen, and at least one bathroom.

  • Two-bedroom apartments are a great choice for small families, especially if they have a master bedroom. Since the master bedroom is usually larger and has its own bathroom, it is perfect for parents who want some privacy with their children.
  • Two-bedroom apartments are also ideal for those looking to save on rent. It’s not uncommon for 3-4 people to live in a 2 bedroom, especially if the bed is a bunk bed. This living situation is common among university and graduate students, as well as young people who want to be independent from their families.
  • Even for singles, a two-bedroom apartment is worth considering as the available room can serve multiple purposes. If you work from home or run an online business, you can use the room as an office. You can also use it as a gym, studio, or even a living room if you have friends or family that often stay.
